Apart from the societies listed above I am also a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, member of Glasgow and West of Scotland Family History Society, and member of Renfrewshire Family History Society. Have written self-published booklets on Scottish genealogy and Texas (USA) genealogy. I also created and write for the Scottish Genealogy Blog, which I established about four years

I have been working as a professional genealogist since 1994 in both the United States and Scotland. I have undertaken genealogical study from University of the West of Scotland - Paisley, University of Strathclyde, University of Dundee, University of Toronto, and Cambridge University.

Being originally from the United States I have an understanding of American and Canadian family history and its records. This gives me the unique ability to help those searching for their Scottish ancestors who may have immigrated to North America. However, my clientele is worldwide.

I specialize in all aspect of Scottish family history research. Being located in Scotland I can perform research and obtain original documents not available elsewhere. I also am able to utilize all the major archives and repositories throughout Scotland.  I currently conduct family history and genealogical research, perform ancestral analysis, develop research plans, vital certificate and document retrieval just to name a few of my services that I can provide to potential clients.
