Professional Achievements:

My area of expertise is Worcestershire and Warwickshire (including Birmingham), where I have lived all my life so am very familiar with the area. I am also a writer and have had many articles published in various genealogical magazines, as well as other special interest magazines. And I give talks on a variety of subjects pertaining to genealogy and history. Recently I was approached by the publishers History Press to write a book – ‘Worcestershire – A Family History Guidebook’. This is due for publication shortly.

Having been a researcher for over twenty years I have seen many changes. When I first started there was no internet so I quickly became very familiar with original material. This is where you will probably need my help and expertise.

I am able to undertake some research for other counties (mainly in the nineteenth century) so can, at certain times, find certain details pertaining to ancestors who have ‘strayed’ over the borders.
