I have been a genealogy researcher now for over 25 years and still today I am passionate and enthusiastic about what I do.  Who wouldn’t be with such a wonderful career.

Since the beginning when I researched my own family story which started in many locations around London, and through records took me to so many wonderful places and countries, to Scotland, Edinburgh and the Isles through England and the Shires, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and onto locations much further afield.  The US, New York, Los Angeles, Ohio even to the West Indies, Gibraltar, and Australia.

Until the closure of  ancestry.com`s Expert Connect Service, I worked as one of their Research Service Providers and was awarded many wonderful projects to locate and tell the stories of some amazing family histories.

Although a Londoner many of projects , researched have begun in the US, New Zealand and Australia. The aim of these projects is normally to research back through generations and to locate when a family migrated, the origin of family name, and to look for answers as to why these people packed up their life in their homeland to move to far off distant places around the world.

I have worked on a real heart torn project where a large family of children had been separated at a young age had not been able to find any details of their siblings, for years could only wonder where they were, what had happened to brothers and sisters and how life had treated them.  This had to be one of the most satisfying and very emotional projects, especially so during the time we were able to  locate and reunite the family, separated for over 50 years.

Another interesting project, one that took on its fair share of name variations was concluded as far back as the 1400`s

My method of research begins in my belief that not one project is the same, all projects are individual and special, each require individual  research methods and plans.  Not one project will ever be the same as the one before.

Allow me to tell your family story

Testimonial from one of many satisfied clients

Excellent work and service by my researcher Sharon Taylor. I had referred to this research as a Christmas present to myself. With what Sharon has found, I feel like the little boy who Mr. Scrooge told to keep the second fat goose in the butcher's window for himself and his family. Scrooge being not my researcher Sharon but the the ignorance of my family history which (like Mr. Scrooge) has now been so wonderfully enlightened.
